    The main problem is, as mentioned earlier, that the "old hands" have already left the scene and relatively new players can't be inspired with an oldschool concept. The game has become fast-paced over the years, and today's players are spoiled by the new systems.

    For example, Anchient is not a pure oldschool server for me. Oldschool means for me, oriented to the game of 2008, no offline store system and especially no four or more inventory pages.

    Another problem will be that nobody knows how long these servers will last. If a server lasts more than 6 months today, you can consider yourself lucky.

    The most people are grown up, so they are working or do other things. They have no time to invest this amount of time.

    I wonder if the majority is still interested in the game itself at all? Don't mind me if I'm wrong, but I see in Metin2 only a money business, whether as an administrator or as a player.

    I believed that only in Italy we were in bad shape, but man, without offline-shop i think nobody play!! Now more systems are essential i think this man.


    I think alot of servers especially the one you mentioned were really bad advertised. or the admins are idiots like the one from ancient2 lol. the server can be good but if the person behind the administration write stupid stuff somewhere , bad presentation too less promotion etc. can lead to no players. the community is pretty ruthless. if you fuck up they wont play simple as that, they just go on and play another server where people actually play. the reason why people play on aeldra as example is simple: there is almost no alternative. i think if there would be a good oldschool server with good quality of life good marketing etc. there is a chance to gain a good player base. A lot of oldschool server just take files and put no work into it and market it as "oldschool" i think thats the biggest reason noone wants to play them.

    Okay but in the oldschool server which news do you want? just only remake graphic for example, or create a game with step level? for example first step lv 1-30 with map 1-2 next step 30-45 with desert and valley ecc... i say an example. Or you can put new costum/skin for armour/weapon?

    Man but what you mean about "stable oldschool" ?? ...I mean for example ancien2 and mt2classic, their are vintage oldschool server but don't have more players why? ... And Aeldra middleschool have 4k+ players...

    I'm here with this new question.

    In my project/server, I came up with the idea of making the average bonuses permanent on the weapon lv30/75, and therefore cannot be rolled over like normal bonuses but without skill bonus, as heroes armour in the official.


    What do you think about this? you like this idea?

    For my New server, I made the decision to eliminate one of the two realms, for a storyline factor and more.

    I decided to leave jinno (blue kingdom), now I want to know between Shinsoo and Chunjo, which one do you prefer

    what do you think of a 2007/08 oldschool vintage style server with gameplay?

    My ideas are 3 choose which one you like the most:

    1- Open server same official style 2007/08

    2-Open server oldsdtyle 2007/08 but with new mechanics for example in making bonuses and advancing skills


    3- Open server oldstyle 2007/08 with new mechanics but with level max 50/55 (final set 54 + 9 and set 66/65 ecc .. are estetic)

    What do you choose? And why?

    Yes that is the question:

    1) I don't know if it would be better to make it completely new with new maps, new set new

    2) or oldschool with map1-2 and valley for final map and final set is lv 54 classic set and with new quest and new gameplay mode, to have all players skill G or P at level 54 for example


    I have made a new bonus systems and new book systems

    But i don't know if it would be better to make it newschool or old..
